The Edwards 868STR Adaptabeacon series is a versatile surface mount combination electronic horn/strobe designed for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring low current draw and high dB output. It includes terminals for easy wiring and comes in a gray flame-resistant housing with five lens color options. The strobe provides a brightness of 150 candela with a clear lens and features a 1000 hour strobe tube, ensuring long-lasting performance. The unit is complete with a gasket and a weatherproof surface back box, engineered from thermoplastic housing for added durability. The supplied back box measures 5 59/64" (150mm) square by 3 13/32" (87mm) deep, allowing for secure mounting. The 868STR can operate the strobe and horn independently, making it suitable for distinctive visual or audible signals in various applications such as timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarms in manufacturing environments.
