The Edwards 868STR Adaptabeacon series is a high-performance surface mount combination electronic horn/strobe suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. This device features a low current draw and a high decibel output, making it effective in various settings. It includes terminals for easy wiring, a gray flame resistant housing, and is available with five lens colors. The strobe emits 150 candela with a clear lens and is equipped with a complete gasket and a weatherproof surface back box engineered from thermoplastic housing, designed to resist corrosion. The device is complemented by a 1000-hour strobe tube for extended reliability. The 868STR mounts to the supplied surface box, which measures 5 59/64" (150mm) square by 3 13/32" (87mm) deep. It is ideal for outdoor wall mounting in manufacturing sites, providing a distinctive visual or audible signal for timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarm applications.
