Goff's Bug Blocking Mesh Screen Doors are designed to keep insects out while allowing fresh air in, utilizing a heavy 11 oz pre-coated woven vinyl coated mesh polyester screen that is resistant to ultraviolet rays, rot, tear, and mildew. The screen features a 17 x 11 polyester scrim that creates small openings difficult for insects to penetrate and provides a shade screen factor improvement of 65%, helping to maintain cooler non-air-conditioned plant spaces. The leading edge, valance, and floor sweep are reinforced with 18 oz vinyl for enhanced wear and durability. The installation includes a valance that mounts to the building instead of the curtain track for improved stability and rigidity, while a full-length fiberglass tube stiffens the curtain's leading edge to ensure it seals properly against the door jamb. The mesh curtain attaches permanently to one side of the door's vertical edge, closing against the opposite side, with top valance panels and a bottom floor sweep that create a near-total insect barrier. The pliable hem on the leading edge guarantees a good seal to the jam, and the curtain glides side-to-side on an easy-to-install track with a dual-wheeled trolley roller system.
