The 18 oz vinyl used on the leading edge, valance, and floor sweep enhances wear and durability, while the valance mounts directly to the building for added stability. A full-length fiberglass tube stiffens the leading edge of the curtain to ensure it seals against the door jamb, and the mesh curtain is designed to attach permanently to one side of the door's vertical edge, closing against the opposite side.
