The grab bar is constructed from either 16 gauge Type 304 1-1/4" O.D. stainless steel with exposed surfaces in polished satin finish or 16 gauge steel with a white finish. It is designed to be securely fastened to the wall to support loads up to 250 lbs under its intended use. The mandrel bending process used on all curves ensures a uniform bar diameter, enhancing both safety and aesthetic appeal. For functionality, the grab bar can be manually lowered to a horizontal support position and raised for departure, featuring a locking system that allows it to be secured in either a horizontal or retracted position.
