Convertible bench units from National Public Seating are designed for versatile applications, featuring a robust 14-gauge steel frame, high pressure laminate tabletops, and phenolic backer sheets that allow for power washing. The units can be configured in three ways: as a comfortable bench with a back, as a table with a bench, or by combining two units using the built-in ganging devices to create a larger table, facilitating safe, easy, and fast transitions. For enhanced safety, the design includes two locking casters that prevent movement during use, and the benches are elevated from the tabletops when folding to avoid finger pinching. Additional features include non-marring reinforced nylon glides with steel inserts over the leg uprights, six casters with two that lock to keep the units stationary, and 16-gauge aprons. The tables and benches efficiently fold and nest for optimal storage. The dimensions are as follows: when opened as a table, the unit measures 7' L x 29" W x 29" H; when opened as a bench, it measures 7' L x 28" W x 34" H; and when folded (nested), it is 7' L x 12" W x 34" H.
