Convertible bench units from National Public Seating are designed for versatile use, constructed with a robust 14-gauge steel frame. The tabletops and benches feature a high-pressure laminate top and a phenolic backer sheet, allowing them to be power washable. These units can be configured in three different settings: as a comfortable bench with a back, as a table with a bench, or by combining two units using the included built-in ganging devices to create one large table. The transition between configurations is safe, easy, and quick. For storage, the units fold and nest neatly, while two locking casters ensure stability during use, preventing any unintended rolling. Additional features include non-marring reinforced nylon glides with steel inserts, six casters with two locking options, flip-up benches for compact folding, and sixteen-gauge aprons.
