The Gravity Skatewheel Conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads such as cartons, totes, and cases that have firm flat surfaces. This system has several benefits and features, including its lighter weight compared to roller conveyors, making it ideal for quick temporary setups. It comes with quick connecting hook and rod couplers, and the skatewheels roll freely, making them more suitable for conveying lighter packages. The construction features 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" frames made of 12-gauge galvanized steel, complemented by axles that are 1/2" diameter steel on 3" centers, with one end threaded and secured by a locking nut. The wheels have a diameter of 1-15/16", are pre-lubricated, and consist of zinc-plated steel, with a capacity of 75 lbs per wheel. The galvanized steel frame capacities for evenly distributed non-impact loads are 36 lbs per foot with supports on 10' centers and 260 lbs per foot with supports on 5' centers. The skatewheel sections are measured by overall width (OAW), while hook and rod couplers are also zinc plated.
