The Gravity Skatewheel Conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads that possess firm flat surfaces, such as cartons, totes, and cases. This conveyor is lighter in weight than traditional roller conveyors, which makes it ideal for quick temporary setups. It features quick connecting hook and rod couplers and consists of pre-lubricated zinc plated steel skatewheels that roll freely, making them particularly suited for conveying lighter packages. The construction includes 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" frames made of 12 gauge galvanized steel, with axles of 1/2" diameter steel positioned on 3" centers, where one end is threaded with a locking nut. The wheel per foot (WPF) is noted per line item, and the hook and rod couplers are zinc plated. Skatewheel sections are measured by the overall width (OAW). The wheels have a diameter of 1-15/16" with a 1/2" bore and a capacity of 75 lbs. The galvanized steel frame capacities, for evenly distributed non-impact loads, are 36 lbs. per foot with supports on 10' centers and 260 lbs. per foot with supports on 5' centers.
