The Gravity Skatewheel conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads with firm flat surfaces such as cartons, totes, and cases. It is lighter in weight than roller conveyors, making it ideal for quick temporary set-ups, and includes quick connecting hook and rod couplers. The skatewheels roll freely, making them better suited for conveying lighter packages. Aluminum conveyors offer lighter weight for easier handling, while galvanized steel conveyors provide heavier and more durable construction. The wheels have a diameter of 1-15/16" and are pre-lubricated aluminum. The conveyor frames measure 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" and are made of 1/8" heat-treated aluminum. Steel axles are of diameter and spaced on 3" centers, with one end threaded and secured with a locking nut. Hook and rod couplers are zinc plated, and skatewheel sections are measured by overall width (OAW). The wheels have a 1-15/16" diameter with bore and support a maximum load capacity of 75 lbs. Each aluminum frame can carry evenly distributed, non-impact loads of 16 lbs. per foot with supports placed every 10 feet or 150 lbs. per foot with supports every 5 feet.
