The Gravity Skatewheel Conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads with firm flat surfaces, such as cartons, totes, and cases. It features a lighter weight compared to roller conveyors, making it ideal for temporary set-ups. The system includes quick connecting hook and rod couplers, and the skatewheels roll freely, enhancing suitability for conveying lighter packages. The construction utilizes 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" frames made from 1/8" heat-treated aluminum, with axles measuring 1/2" diameter steel positioned on 3" centers and threaded at one end with a locking nut. The wheels are 1-15/16" in diameter, pre-lubricated, and have a 75 lb capacity. The aluminum frame capacities allow for 16 lbs. per foot when supports are placed on 10' centers and 150 lbs. per foot with supports on 5' centers. The skatewheel sections are measured by the overall width (OAW) and include hook and rod couplers that are zinc plated. The galvanized steel conveyors offer enhanced durability.
