The Gravity Skatewheel Conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads with firm flat conveying surfaces such as cartons, totes, and cases. It is lighter in weight than roller conveyors, making it ideal for quick temporary setups, and includes quick connecting hook and rod couplers. The skatewheels, which are 1-15/16" diameter pre-lubricated aluminum wheels, roll freely and are better suited for conveying lighter packages. The conveyor frames are constructed of 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" sections made from 1/8" heat-treated aluminum, with steel axles spaced on 3" centers, one end threaded with a locking nut. Hook and rod couplers are zinc plated. Skatewheel sections are measured by the overall width (OAW). Aluminum conveyors are lighter for easier handling, while galvanized steel conveyors offer heavier and more durable options. Each wheel has a 75 lb capacity, and aluminum frame capacities support an evenly distributed non-impact load of 16 lbs per foot with supports on 10' centers and 150 lbs per foot with supports on 5' centers. Wheel per foot (WPF) is specified per line item.
