Ashland Conveyor Products produces several models of flow rails with skatewheels designed specifically for storage flow racks. The skatewheel flow rail is constructed with 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" 12 gauge galvanized steel frames. It includes inline wheels positioned on 3" centers and staggered wheels positioned on 1-1/2" centers. The wheels have a diameter of 1-15/16" with a bore and come with either a 75 lb or 100 lb capacity. The FR4 flow rail capacities, assuming evenly distributed non-impact loads, are 36 lbs. per foot with supports placed on 10' centers and 260 lbs. per foot with supports placed on 5' centers.
