The gravity skatewheel conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads with firm, flat conveying surfaces such as cartons, totes, and cases. It is lighter in weight than roller conveyors, making it ideal for quick temporary set-ups and includes quick connecting hook and rod couplers. The skatewheels, which are 1-15/16" diameter pre-lubricated zinc plated steel with bore, roll freely and are better suited for lighter packages. The conveyor features 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" frames constructed of 12 gauge galvanized steel, with steel axles spaced on 3" centers, one end threaded with a locking nut. Hook and rod couplers are zinc plated, and skatewheel sections are measured by the overall width (OAW). The conveyor has a capacity of 75 lbs. per wheel, with galvanized steel frame capacities of 36 lbs. per foot when supported on 10' centers and 260 lbs. per foot when supported on 5' centers, all based on evenly distributed non-impact loads.
