The Summit EL31LT laboratory chest freezer is a -45°C capable unit with a capacity of 10.6 cu.ft., manufactured in Denmark by ELCOLD for commercial, medical, or laboratory storage. This chest freezer utilizes static manual defrost cooling to maintain a constant temperature, supported by an externally controlled digital thermostat for easy temperature monitoring. It features extra thick 4-1/2" insulation for enhanced efficiency and reliability, a solid easy-grip handle with a factory-installed lock for security, a sturdy set of casters for mobility, and counterbalanced hinges that facilitate comfortable loading and unloading. The unit is equipped with a factory-installed probe hole to allow for the installation of custom monitoring equipment. The Accucold EL31LT is UL-S listed to ANSI-NSF standards for commercial use and operates within a temperature range of -10°C to -45°C, making it suitable for the safe storage of sensitive materials, including vaccines and select frozen goods.
