The Flxc .5-1.5 Flexelene™ tubing Flxc 135C is designed for applications in peristaltic pumps and is compliant with RoHS standards. This product features Flexelene™ tubing variants including 135C, 121C, and 66E, all manufactured from a highly durable thermoplastic elastomer material. Initial testing indicates that the peristaltic life cycle of the 135C tubing exceeds 500 hours. It is suitable for biomedical, pharmaceutical, and bioprocess applications, exhibiting ultra-low extractables and leachables. The tubing complies with ISO 10993-5 for non-cytotoxicity and ISO 10993-4 for non-hemolytic properties. It contains no DEHP additives, is gamma-resistant to 45 KGy, and has low gas and oxygen permeability, allowing it to withstand multiple autoclave cycles. The operating temperature range is from -50 °C to +135 °C (-58 °F to +275 °F), with a Shore A hardness of 68. The tubing is free from halogens and phthalates, supports autoclave, gamma, and ETO sterilization, features low protein binding, is made from non-pyrogenic material, has a brittle temperature of -88 °F, and offers permeability values of 2260 barrier O2 (cc/mil/100 | N2/atm/day). It is thermally weldable and animal derivative-free.
