The SFXAG 3-5 Flexelene™ tubing is RoHS compliant and features Flexelene™ antimicrobial protection, designed with an inner liner that releases silver ions to guard against the colonization of pathogenic bacteria, as well as inhibit the growth of biofilm-forming molds, fungi, and algae. This standard MFX tubing incorporates a co-extruded inner liner, providing antimicrobial protection through a slow release of silver ions that prevent the growth of microorganisms and the formation of biofilm. The antimicrobial protection is a critical measure in reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). This biomedical tubing is animal derivative free, non-cytotoxic, non-allergenic, and contains no phthalate plasticizers or DEHP additives. It can be sterilized using e-beam or ETO methods, features an inner wall which is also antimicrobial protected, and is latex-free. The temperature operational range is -57 °C to 57 °C (-70 °F to +135 °F), with a Shore A hardness of less than 58.
