The FLX84E 1-2 Flexelene™ Tubing is a high-performance product designed for biomedical and bioprocess applications. This tubing is RoHS compliant and meets stringent standards, including USP Class VI and ISO 10993-4 and ISO 10993-5, ensuring safety and reliability for neonatal applications. It is free from animal derivatives, latex, halogens, PVC, and phthalates, making it suitable for sensitive environments. The tubing features ultra-low extractables and leachables and exhibits low protein binding properties, enhancing its effectiveness in various medical applications. It can be sterilized using E-beam, ETO, gamma (up to 45 kGy), or autoclave methods (121 °C). The material is a thermoplastic elastomer with a Shore A hardness of 75, suitable for a temperature range of -50 °C to +121 °C (-58 °F to +250 °F).
