The R6 Polyiso insulation in curb and cover is designed to enhance energy efficiency. The curb and cover are constructed from 14 gauge galvanized steel with a weather-resistant white textured powder coat finish and feature a 22 gauge cover liner along with a continuous EPDM gasket. The system includes counterbalanced springs and a locking hold-open arm, enabling single-handed operation of the cover while allowing the operator to maintain three points of contact with the ladder. Additionally, the indented Diamond Grip™ design secures the roofing membrane and backer rod, simplifying the installation process. All hardware components are zinc-plated, including inside and outside handles and padlock hasps. The system has been tested to withstand a wind uplift of 50 PSF.
