The R6 Polyiso insulation in the curb and cover is designed to reduce energy costs effectively. The curb and cover are constructed from 14 gauge galvanized steel with a weather-resistant white textured powder coat finish and feature a 22 gauge cover liner and continuous EPDM gasket. It includes counterbalanced springs and a locking hold-open arm, allowing for single-handed operation of the cover while enabling the operator to maintain three points of contact with the ladder. The indented Diamond Grip™ design secures the roofing membrane and backer rod, facilitating easier installation. All hardware is zinc-plated, including inside and outside handles, as well as padlock hasps. This product has been tested to withstand wind uplift of 50 PSF.
