The HSM® HSM1843 Securio B34C professional cross-cut shredder features an advanced energy management and control system that reduces energy consumption by 90 percent. This cross-cut shredder operates at a cutting speed of 15.75 feet per minute and is capable of shredding up to 24 sheets at a time into 3/16" x 1-1/8" pieces, conforming to security level 3 specifications. It is equipped with a 12.2" throat opening that accommodates paper, credit cards, staples, paper clips, and CDs/DVDs. The machine includes a shred-bin level indicator, a removable waste container, a folding safety element, and promotes continuous motor operation. The waste bin has a capacity of 26.4 gallons and the overall dimensions of the unit are 21.3" W x 17.3" D x 33.3" H, making it suitable for both small and large shredding jobs.
