The high-security, micro-cut shredder features a continuous-duty motor and an energy management control system that reduces energy consumption by up to 90 percent. It can shred up to 13 sheets of 20 lb. paper in a single pass into 1/16" x 9/16" micro-cuts at a speed of 13 feet per minute, achieving a security level 4 rating. The shredder is equipped with two solid steel cutting cylinders that experience practically no wear and require no sharpening, as they are manufactured through a laser-cutting and special heat-treatment process for precision. The patented V-Tek cutting groove technology enhances cutting capacity while minimizing power requirements. Its jam-stop auto reverse technology prevents jams during overloading, and WhisperShred technology keeps noise levels low at 55 decibels during operation. Additionally, the totally enclosed gear box reduces noise and prevents mechanical failure from dust and debris. The shredder has a throat depth of 12.2 inches and is paired with a 21-gallon waste bin, with overall dimensions of 19.0 inches in width, 16.0 inches in depth, and 31.0 inches in height.
