The ANS series of products from Edwards are high-performance audio notification systems designed to deliver voice evacuation capabilities that fulfill the emergency voice alarm requirements of NFPA 72 for UL listed fire alarm applications. Available in 25, 50, or 70 watt models, each ANS panel includes an amplifier, tone generator, digital message repeater (DMR), and supervisory interface. These self-contained systems feature robust field-configurable options and can be complemented with a variety of accessory equipment that enhances application flexibility and ensures reliable performance for both new and retrofit installations. Expander panels and modules allow the ANS system to adapt to even the most demanding audio applications, while accessory components such as zone switchers and remote microphones provide advanced functionalities typically associated with high-end systems. Suitable for use with Edwards QuickStart and Fireshield fire alarm control panels, all ANS systems are compatible with Edwards Signaling's Genesis line of field-configurable speakers and speaker-strobes, which offer an aesthetically pleasing solution for voice audio applications. Standard features include compliance with NFPA 72 emergency voice alarm requirements, clean dead-front construction, integrated digital message repeater with a four-minute message capacity, field selectability for either 25 or 70 VRMS speakers, a 120 VAC power supply with battery charger, a paging microphone that overrides messages and tones, high reliability with low maintenance, full supervision, UL listing, easy installation, operation, configuration, built-in alarm and alert signals, and 24-hour backup provided by two 12 V, 7 AH batteries.
