The Genesis line of signals features a unique low-profile design that is ultra-slim, protruding less than one inch from the wall, and is available in textured housings of neutral white or traditional fire alarm red, providing an attractive appearance that blends seamlessly with any decor. These compact audible-visual signaling devices incorporate FullLight strobe technology, offering low current draw and selectable candela output options of 15, 30, 75, or 17 candela, which can be easily adjusted using a switch located at the bottom of the device. The chime operation can be set to non-coded (default), temporal, or coded (single-stroke), all controlled by a single microprocessor that manages both chime and strobe functions. The Genesis strobes utilize an innovative mask-and-cavity design that produces a smooth light distribution pattern, ensuring consistent illumination across the coverage area without the drawbacks of specular reflectors. Additionally, these strobes are self-synchronizing, and when paired with an optional synchronization module, they synchronize their flashes to within 7 milliseconds of each other. The chimes emit a pleasing mellow tone and operate at a steady pulse rate of 60 strokes per minute when steady (non-stroked) voltage is applied, with the option for field configuration for temporal output. Furthermore, when installed with an EG1M signal master module, the chime can be configured for coded operation.
