The Edwards FSRRM24 remote relay module is a sophisticated component designed for fire alarm systems, featuring five form C relays each rated at 1 amp. It can be configured for operation in either zone relay mode, where relays activate when the corresponding initiating device circuit (IDC) is in an alarm state, or common system mode, where relays respond to changes in the panel's status. The module allows for activation by IDCs 1-5 or 6-7, with one relay automatically associated with each IDC. In common system mode, relays control functions such as alarm, supervisory, trouble, power, and monitor. The FSRRM24 can be mounted on a plastic snap track, which is included, or on the optional FSRRM-S11 extended snap track that accommodates up to four FSRRMs. It is compatible with the MFC-A multi-function cabinet or other listed fire alarm enclosures. The panel supports the installation of two relay modules of each configuration, allowing for a total of six modules on a seven-zone panel.
