The Edwards Signaling EG1R-HD Genesis Temp Horn is a compact and innovative emergency signaling device that features a unique low-profile design, protruding less than one inch from the wall. It boasts an attractive appearance with no visible mounting screws and employs exclusive FullLight strobe technology for enhanced visibility. This unit has a low current draw and offers various candela output models, specifically 15/30/75/17 and 95-177 candela options. The horn can operate at high or low dB settings and can be configured for either temporal or steady signals, with a public mode flash rate or a private mode temporal flash. The Genesis line is known for its compact size, comparable to that of a deck of playing cards, making it suitable for blending into various building environments. The EG1-HDVM series provides selectable candela output from 15 to 17, while the EG1-HDVMH series offers a range of 95 to 177 candela output. Additionally, the horn output can reach up to 99 dB and features a multiple frequency tone for optimal sound penetration. The device allows for both coded and non-coded signal circuit configurations and can be set for low dB output with an adjustable jumper. When used in conjunction with the Cat. No. EG1M Signal Master, the strobe flashes are synchronized within 7 milliseconds, and it allows for independent horn control over a single pair of wires.
