The Edwards Signaling EG1RF-HD Genesis Temp Horn is a compact emergency signaling device with a unique low-profile design, featuring an attractive appearance that protrudes less than one inch from the wall without visible mounting screws. This device incorporates exclusive FullLight strobe technology, which ensures low current draw and offers multiple candela output options, including 15/30/75/177 and 95-177 candela output models. Users can select a high (default) or low dB horn output as well as configure it for a temporal (default) or steady horn, with an option for public mode flash rate or private mode temporal flash. The horn/strobe's advanced design allows for a well-distributed light pattern without the need for bulky reflectors and maintains a size comparable to a deck of playing cards. The EG1-HDVM series features a selectable 15 to 17 candela output with a lockable setting to prevent tampering, while the EG1-HDVMH series provides a higher output range of 95 to 177 candela. The horn can reach up to 99 dB and offers a distinctive multi-frequency tone for effective wall penetration. Additionally, the horns can be configured for coded or non-coded signal circuits, and a jumper cut can adjust the output by 5 dB. When paired with the Cat. No. EG1M Signal Master, the strobe flashes from devices on the same circuit can synchronize within 7 milliseconds indefinitely, and the Signal Master allows for independent horn control over a single circuit.
