The Genesis line of signals represents the smallest, most compact audible and visible emergency signaling devices in the world, comparable in size to a deck of playing cards, designed to blend seamlessly with any building environment. The devices feature a unique low-profile design with an attractive appearance, protruding less than one inch from the wall and lacking visible mounting screws. Equipped with exclusive FullLight strobe technology, they offer low current draw and are available in multiple candela output models, including 15, 30, 75, 17, and 95-177 candela outputs. The horn can be set to high (default) or low dB settings, with options for a temporal (default) or steady tone, and the public mode flash rate (default) or private mode temporal flash. The EG1-HDVM series horn/strobes allow selection between 15 to 17 candela output via a conveniently-located switch, while the EG1-HDVMH series provides 95 to 177 candela output. The output settings remain clearly visible post-installation but are locked to prevent unauthorized changes. The horn can reach up to 99 dB with a unique multiple frequency tone for excellent wall penetration, and can be configured for coded or non-coded signal circuits, including a low dB output option that reduces horn output by 5 dB. For synchronization, when used with the Cat. No. EG1M signal master, strobe flashes on the same circuit are synchronized within 7 milliseconds indefinitely, allowing for independent horn control over a single pair of wires, with one signal master required per circuit.
