The Edwards Signaling EG1F-HD Genesis wall temperature horn-strobe is designed for effective emergency signaling with a hi-lo feature, finished in white and marked for fire use. It boasts unique attributes such as a low-profile design that protrudes less than one inch from the wall with no visible mounting screws, combined with exclusive FullLight strobe technology that ensures low current draw. This model includes a range of candela output options at 15, 30, 75, 17, and 95-177 candela, with high (default) or low dB horn settings, and temporal (default) or steady horn sounds. The public mode flash rate is adjustable, allowing for a private mode temporal flash option. The devices are compact, comparable in size to a deck of playing cards, facilitating seamless integration into various building environments. The innovative mask-and-cavity design enables precise light distribution without the need for bulky reflectors. The EG1-HDVM series provides selectable candela output between 15 and 17 with a side-mounted switch, while the EG1-HDVMH series allows for a broader range of 95 to 177 candela output, with settings clearly visible yet tamper-proof. The horn can achieve up to 99 dB with a unique multiple frequency tone for optimal wall penetration and clear danger warnings, and it can be configured for coded or non-coded signal circuits. A jumper cut feature allows for a reduction of horn output by 5 dB for lower sound levels. Furthermore, when used with the Cat. No. EG1M Signal Master, synchronized strobe flashes from devices on the same circuit can be maintained within 7 milliseconds indefinitely, while also permitting independent horn control.
