Genesis ceiling speakers are compact audible emergency signaling devices designed for indoor ceiling or wall applications. They feature an attractive appearance with no visible mounting screws, protruding only one inch from the ceiling, and are available in 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watt configurations. The switch settings remain clearly visible yet locked in place post-installation to prevent movement, and the output reaches 90 dBA. Designed with textured housings in architecturally neutral white, they include a DC blocking capacitor for electrical supervision of the audio distribution circuit. Models support 25VRMS and 70VRMS audio circuits and utilize a durable Mylar speaker with sealed back construction, ensuring moisture resistance and enhanced audibility. These speakers are flush mounted to a North American 4" square electrical box, 2 1/8" (54 mm) deep, or a European 70 mm square box, allowing for easy access to mounting screws through a simple unlatch and twist mechanism. The shallow depth of the devices provides ample room behind the signal for additional wiring.
