The Genesis line of signals features a unique low-profile design with an attractive appearance, protruding less than one inch from the wall. It incorporates FullLight strobe technology, which offers low current draw and multiple candela output options of 15, 30, 75, or 17 candela, selectable via a switch on the device's bottom. The system allows for non-coded, temporal, or coded chime operation, with a single microprocessor controlling both the chime and strobe functions. Users can choose between high or low dB chime output, and there are no visible mounting screws, enhancing the aesthetic appeal. The compact design includes textured housings available in neutral white or traditional fire alarm red, and does not require bulky specular reflectors. The exclusive mask-and-cavity technology ensures a smooth light distribution pattern, avoiding the spikes and voids common with traditional reflectors, resulting in consistent illumination across the coverage area. Genesis strobes are self-synchronizing, and when paired with an optional synchronization module, they can synchronize strobe flashes to within 7 milliseconds of each other indefinitely. The Genesis chimes produce a pleasing mellow tone, automatically pulsing at 60 strokes per minute with steady voltage or configurable for temporal output in the field. For additional functionality, installation with an EG1M signal master module allows for coded operation, enabling enhanced control over the chime output.
