The patented SWG Venter is ETL and CETL listed for all LP gas, natural gas, or oil-fired heating equipment, combining the motor, blower, and vent hood into one complete, easy-to-install unit. This system mounts on the outside of a building and effectively pulls combustion gases from the appliance through the outside wall utilizing 100% negative pressure, ensuring maximum safety. It allows the use of standard galvanized pipe instead of more expensive stainless steel and eliminates the need to seal vent pipe joints, thus saving time and costs. The SWG offers significantly longer vent lengths than traditional positive pressure direct vent systems and is recommended by major heating appliance manufacturers. The unit must be properly sized to match the appliance or appliances' input firing rate, which is usually specified in the manufacturer's installation manual, and should be installed with a CK control kit to ensure compliance and safe, efficient venting. This system is applicable for use with gas or oil furnaces, boilers, and water heaters, particularly in new construction or when converting from electric to gas or oil, as well as in situations where relining a chimney is not desired.
