The Fan-in-a-Drum® is a commercial product designed to deliver combustion air into mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, or furnace locations to address confined space or inadequate air supply challenges. This dual voltage unit is suitable for both oil and gas applications. When the thermostat calls for heat, the Fan-in-a-Drum® activates, drawing air into the structure. Once airflow is established, the pressure switch closes, sending a signal to the appliance via the CAS, which allows the burner to ignite. This system effectively diffuses outside air into the room near the burner, ensuring an adequate air supply for efficient combustion. The product is made in the USA and complies with relevant safety standards.
