The indexing plunger - lock-out type is constructed from black oxide steel with a 3/8-24 thread. This indexing plunger is designed for applications where the plunger must remain in its retracted position, achieved by rotating the knob 90 degrees after retraction. The head of the plunger body features suitable notches in opposite positions to prevent accidental slipping back into the forward position. The nylon plastic hand knob has a maximum heat resistance of 110°C (230°F).
