Rust-Oleum 9800 System 340 VOC DTM Urethane Mastic Activator 9801419 is a high solids, high-build, direct-to-metal (DTM) acrylic urethane designed to provide exceptional corrosion protection and long-term appearance in aggressive environments. This self-priming formulation offers excellent adhesion and coverage in one coat and features an extremely durable finish that ensures superior color and gloss retention compared to other DTM urethanes. It can cure at low temperatures down to 32° F (0° C) and exhibits excellent sag resistance, allowing for application at high-film builds, with a recommended dry film thickness (DFT) of 3-5 mils.
