This drilling kit is designed for general-purpose deep drilling operations in normal materials and for drilling holes in hard-to-reach or inaccessible areas. It is suitable for drilling through normal steels, cast iron, and various ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. The kit can be used with handheld manual drills as well as portable or stationary machines. It features a right-hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction with a standard two-flute design and normal spiral-helical flutes. The drill bits have straight shanks that correspond to the drill diameter and are available in overall lengths of 6", 10", 12", and 18". The technical data indicates that the bits are manufactured from high-speed steel and are cylindrically ground from solid material.
