The kit is designed for general-purpose deep drilling operations in normal materials and for drilling holes in hard-to-reach locations or inaccessible areas. It is suitable for drilling normal steels, cast iron, and a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, and is compatible with hand-held manual drills as well as both portable and stationary machines. The kit features a right hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction with a standard two flute design and normal spiral helical flutes. The straight shanks correspond to the drill diameter, and the kit is available in four overall lengths: 6", 10", 12", and 18". It is manufactured from high speed steel and is cylindrically ground from solid material.
