The kit is designed for general-purpose deep drilling operations on normal materials and for drilling holes in hard-to-reach locations or inaccessible areas. It is suitable for drilling normal steels, cast iron, and a variety of other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. The kit can be used with hand-held manual drills as well as portable or stationary machines. It features a right-hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction and has a standard two-flute design with normal spiral-helical flutes. The drill bits come with straight shanks that correspond to the drill diameter and are available in your choice of 6", 10", 12", and 18" overall lengths. Manufactured from high-speed steel, the drill bits are cylindrically ground from solid material.
