The Dilvac portable dry-ice maker is designed for efficient and immediate production of dry-ice, reaching temperatures of -109.3°F, without the need for electrical power. This compact and lightweight unit is capable of generating a block of approximately 2.2 lbs (1 kg) in just about 1 minute, with a yield of 5 to 6 blocks from a 75 lbs liquid CO2 cylinder at room temperature, which can increase significantly at lower ambient temperatures (up to 1/3 more at 41°F). The kit includes a hose for easy connection to a cylinder of compressed liquid CO2 equipped with an internal siphon and a standard CGA-320 valve. Full instructions for operation are provided, although gas cylinders are not included and can be sourced from local gas dealers or welding supply stores. The dimensions of the produced dry-ice block are 7.0 inches long x 3.2 inches wide x 4.3 inches high.
