Made in the U.S.A., "NY-LEV" nylon base machinery mounts offer a quality and economical solution to leveling and height adjustment needs. The mounts feature a threaded stud that swivels 15° in all directions, although it is not recommended to exceed this angle to avoid separation of the stud and pad. Installation should not involve a coupling nut; instead, a nut or tapped hole of 1 - 1 1/2 times the thread diameter should be used. An optional pad can be included for non-skid, noise, and vibration reduction, featuring a unique solid squared pattern that enhances grip. The pad resists many organic acids, most chemicals, alkalines, salt, water, and corrosion. To determine the correct mount size, divide the machine weight by the number of mounts required to find the load per mount in pounds. The maximum load ratings for leveling mounts equipped with an elastomer pad are based on a calculation of 40% distortion to ensure proper application requirements when using the base with the non-skid elastomer pad.
