The American Standard 6047.161 manual flush valve for toilets is designed for a 1.6 GPF performance. This manual flush valve features a self-cleaning brass piston with an integral wiper spring, which helps to prevent clogging and reduces maintenance needs. The piston operation provides superior flush accuracy and repeatability, and the valve remains closed without the need for a reset after a loss of water pressure. The unit includes a non-hold open handle and a positive seal for leak-free performance, without any external volume adjustment. Built with durable chrome-plated cast brass construction, it is well-suited for commercial applications and features chloramine-resistant EPDM seals. An adjustable tailpiece allows for rough-in flexibility, and the valve can be installed for either left or right hand use.
