The American Standard 6065.161 Exposed Selectronic Sensor Toilet Flush Valve operates at a flush rate of 1.6 GPF and features an electronic flush valve with a Selectronic proximity system designed for hands-free operation. It incorporates a self-cleaning piston operation to prevent clogging and reduce maintenance, while a positive seal ensures leak-free performance. The fully mechanical manual override button allows flushing during a power outage, and the range can be adjusted either manually or via remote control. The sensor and electronic controls are enclosed and water-resistant, with an automatic flush feature that activates after 24 hours of non-use to maintain the trap seal. A safety timer prevents vandalism by shutting off the valve if the sensor is obstructed for more than one minute, and there's a 3-second flush delay along with a low battery indicator. The battery can be changed without shutting off the water, and a factory-installed 6V lithium battery is included. This flush valve can be installed left or right-handed, is ADA compliant, and requires an 11-1/2" rough-in.
