The American Standard 118830 Selectronic sensor toilet flush valve features a high-efficiency design with a 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF) rating and is suitable for an 11-1/2" rough-in. This flush valve comes with a chrome finish and incorporates an electronic Selectronic proximity system for hygienic "hands-free" operation. It includes a self-cleaning piston to help prevent clogging, ensuring reduced maintenance. The valve features a positive seal for leak-free performance and a safety timer that shuts off the valve if the sensor is covered for over 60 seconds, helping to prevent vandalism. Additionally, a fully mechanical manual override allows the valve to flush during power failures, while fail-safe operation guarantees that it automatically closes on the loss of power or water pressure. The sanitary flush valve is designed to automatically flush after 24 hours of non-use to maintain trap seal, and its state-of-the-art electronics are immune to outside light. The watertight design ensures dependable performance, and the range can be adjusted without tools, either manually or by remote control. This valve can be installed for both left or right-handed configurations, is DC powered with a battery included, and is compatible with wall or floor-mounted bowls with a 1.5" top spud.
