The Bel-Art Clavies® heat resistant biohazard autoclave gloves (model 132010001) come in a single pair and feature an 11" gauntlet design. Constructed from soft, pliant all-cotton terry cloth, these gloves are ideal for handling hot objects removed from an autoclave or oven, as well as for other heat protection applications in laboratory, educational, or industrial settings. They are heat-resistant up to 232°C (450°F), serving as a safer alternative to traditional asbestos gloves. The gauntlets provide adequate wrist and forearm protection, while the bright orange color ensures high visibility. For maintenance, the gloves are machine washable and can be air dried or dried using the Lab-Aire® II glove holder (F18931-0000). It is important to note that these gloves are not waterproof and should not be used for handling dry ice.
