The Sterileware® scoops are designed for efficient sampling, particularly from wide-mouth containers, and are available in 2 oz and 4 oz capacities. These one-piece scoops are made of high-impact polystyrene and are individually sealed and sterilized in polyethylene bags for single-use and disposal. They feature a long handle, which increases the distance between the hand and sample, and when placed on a flat surface, they remain upright, allowing them to function as weighing boats. The scoops are offered in white and an optional bright red color, which minimizes the risk of being inadvertently left behind in samples. The bright color can also be used as a coding system to prevent cross-contamination and provides a contrasting background for better visibility of light-colored samples. Each box contains either 10 or 100 individually sterile wrapped scoops.
