These V-shaped spatulas are designed for handling various powdered or granulated materials, featuring a sturdy point that facilitates the collection of sterile samples during process quality inspections and allows for piercing through plastic-lined paper bags or similar packages. The classic V-shape simplifies the transfer of powdered, flaked, crystalline, or granular media. The long 14" spatula is particularly effective for dislodging caked or crystallized reagents from deep inside tall bottles or vessels with a neck diameter as small as 18mm (3/4"). Offered in two variations, the Sterileware spatulas (available in 9" and 14") are constructed from high-impact polystyrene, each individually packaged, sterilized by gamma irradiation, lot stamped, and accompanied by a certificate of processing. The non-sterile 9" spatulas are made of polypropylene. All spatulas are molded from FDA-grade materials, ensuring safety for food, drug, and cosmetic contact.
