The Baldor-Realiance Constant Velocity Blower Cooling Conversion Kit, model BLWL12-L, is designed for 1-phase, 115V motors with a 324TC-326TC NEMA frame. This kit enables the conversion of Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) or Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) AC motors into a Totally Enclosed Blower Cooled (TEBC) configuration, which is beneficial for applications that require continuous cooling irrespective of motor shaft speed. The installation process involves mounting the kit on the back of the motor after the removal of the fan guard and fan, while the removal of the TEFC fan shaft is not necessary. Please note that this kit is not compatible with Athens-built 180-440 M, CP, or ECP motors.
