These motor bases simplify mounting and belt tension adjustment at installation and during later maintenance checks. Manufactured from heavy-duty steel or plate, all bases undergo a detergent wash, are painted with a dark gray primer, and are oven baked for corrosion resistance. The nuts and bolts are zinc plated for added durability. NEMA 215T and smaller bases feature one adjusting screw, while bases for NEMA 254T frame and larger motors include two adjusting screws. Motor mounting bolts are included with the bases. The listed bases can be used with motor frame numbers followed by the letters S, T, U, US, and TS, or any other letter combinations, provided the motors' base complies with NEMA standards.
