These motor bases are designed to simplify mounting and belt tension adjustment during installation and maintenance checks. Constructed from heavy-duty steel or plate, all bases undergo a detergent wash, are painted with dark gray primer, and are oven-baked for enhanced corrosion resistance. The nuts and bolts used are zinc plated for durability. NEMA 215T and smaller bases feature one adjusting screw, while those for NEMA 254T frame and larger motors include two adjusting screws. Motor mounting bolts are provided with the bases. The listed bases can accommodate motor frame numbers that end with the letters S, T, U, US, and TS, or any other letter combinations, as long as the motor's base complies with NEMA standards.
