The Proto® 3/8" drive electronic torque tester has a torque range of 25-250 in-lbs and is designed for testing all types of torque wrenches in various settings where full-scale calibration or quick pass/fail checks are necessary. It offers an accuracy of +/- 1% of the indicated value in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, with a broad accuracy range extending from 10% to 100% of full scale. Users can select from three units of measure: ft-lb, in-lb, and nm. The device features three operating modes: track mode, peak hold, and first peak (ideal for click-style torque wrenches). A fast sampling rate ensures high accuracy during torque applications. Each tester is equipped with a male square drive and includes a female-to-female square drive adapter. It is powered by a standard 9V battery, delivering up to 50 hours of runtime. Each tester comes with N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology) traceable certification, and optional accessories include an all-steel stand (J6470S) for robust support with a minimal footprint. Testers comply with ASME B107.29 standards.
